Get your group or safe zone started in your local area today!  Here’s some things that will get your on your way to getting listed as an official zombie readiness group:

  • Group or Site Name
  • Website
  • Contact Information
  • Submit Your Info

 

1. Group or Site Name

This is the name that describes your Group/Site/Safe Zone.  Take your time when deciding your group name, as it will be the name that others around the world will recognize you by.

Some examples of veteran zombie group/hunter names are: Zombie Squad, Zombie Reaction Team, etc.

 

2. Website

A website is the easiest way to define your group and get your name out there.  With technology nowadays, you could have your website up within a matter of minutes (I’ll actually post a link to a great video showing you how to do this).  Some things you will want to include in your website: Group Bio, Contact Information, Location, etc.

If you don’t have a website and you don’t know where to start, we recommend BlueHost.  It’s easy, cheap and you have full control to make the changes and updates to your website.  You can have your website up within 10 minutes.

3. Contact Information

Contact information is key to any preparedness planning.  While most of us completely hate Facebook and Twitter, and all of the other social media tools out there, we can’t deny that it is sometimes the fastest way to put out information.

When you get your website up and running, you should begin working on creating a Facebook page (Twitter is kind of for the overly active, but it wouldn’t hurt to get one going later on).  Most veteran zombie reaction groups have the minimum of Facebook.

If you are unsure of how to set up a group on Facebook, just click on the link for this video (it takes you step by step through the process, in under 10 minutes).  Here’s a link for a Twitter startup video (it’s about 3 minutes), if you decide that this would be beneficial for your group.

 4. Submit Your Information

Once you’ve completed the above steps, just submit the information through our Contact Page.  Remember to include the following:

  • Group Bio:
  • Website:
  • Contact Information:
